Trim tabs
What kind of trim tabs do you recommend for a 1997 24ft outlaw set with a 502 supercharged engine, that does 80mph.
Thanks Jj |
You could probably get away with Bennett (or the like) to save some $$. K-Planes will be more expensive, but are faster and have mechanical indicators. I wouldn't go bigger than 280 on that small of a boat.

They have just 1 cylinder, but it's a real cylinder, not something made out of plastic with a spring inside for retracting purposes.
They also use a pump similar to the drive trim pump, so they respond quicky |

I had 280s k-planes on both my 24 outlaws.

I have a Bennett sport tab (dual piston) setup for sale if you want to go that route.

Definitely go 280s, the Bennett Sport Tabs are mediocre at best, your installing form scratch so do it right the first time. If you find a 380 set-up for sale buy it and trade out the plates + $ for 280s to offset your costs.

We sell a lot of the EMI tabs - http://www.diamondperformanceparts.c...cat=263&page=1
