What type of application do you need a chiller for?

Are you talking about a inner cooler, used in blower applications ?? it cools the air,fuel charge before it hits the intake runners.

Yes , an inner cooler. Do you need one for a super charger application or just a blower application?
My boat came with a super charger already installed and it didn't have a chiller with it. The original owner put the charger on the boat, and the second owner knew nothing about the boat when I bought it from him. I am just picking up The pieces and trying to learn as much as I can about my system. I am no Motörhead so it is all knew to me. But I am learning by fixing the original owners mistakes. And it is an expensive lesson.
