I have a very similar setup. I could only turn my 28p stock bravo 4700rpm's. But was going 73mph. I just don't have enough power to turn it any more. I really would like to try a 25p rev4 or 26p bravo. Also my boat has a stock length bravo one. If you were turning that much rpm maybe you were trimmed to high.
On a side note I own and always have owned the slowest 24 Baja Outlaw you can find. My first one was a 1993 24 Outlaw with a 330hp. Which maybe went 55mph (21p rev4 @ 4400rpm's). Then bought 1996 24 Outlaw and put in a mild 565 with guessing around 550ish hp. Which in return pushed me to 67mph (28p bravo @4400rpm). Then same mild 565 with some minor changes and still guessing around 650hp. Then got up to 73mph. Now this was with 100 gallons of fuel and two people and the 28p prop which I couldn't turn. I am trying to get to 5250rpm's.
I know on here everyone's stock 330 24 Outlaw runs 80's. I will say this I am down at the loto a lot and you want to run just let me know. Because I have never seen a stock one stay close.
So sorry for the rant. But I feel your speed is good for power and as long as you are not running a shorty. Which If someone has one lying around let me know.:santa:

Question for the OP....So you're propping the 675HP BBC to run at 5700 RPM? I'd think 25% slip is a good thing as far as keeping the stock Bravo drive alive. I agree, it sounds crazy high but so does 5700 RPM and 80 MPH in a 24' Baja.JMO

I'd be propping for 52-5300, half the slip and still run high 70's low 80's Again, JMO and worth what you paid for it.Good Luck.
