FINALLY, im back in a Baja.. outlaw 33
had another thread started a couple weeks ago asking questions about the 33.. well, I made the jump and got into a 2006 outlaw 33 with 496HO.. she has scanned hours in the 240 range, and is SUPER clean.. the boat and trailer looks like it just rolled off the line. me and my dad did the drive up to Chicago on Monday and got back home late Tuesday night into Wednesday AM.. my old girl Blue, 200K mile Cummins did great.. she didn't really like the hills in PA and western MD but she made it home in one piece.. avg tow was 11mpg total miles 1600..

congrats! GREAT looking and you're right, it's got a very aggressive look in the water. Very clean. 71? All good. With those 496's you can do 71 for 2 hours straight of you want lol. Enjoy!

71 -72 is about right for stock props. Labbing them will get you to75-77. How ever they crack props then and you will be stuck buying new props again. It's what happened to Jeff's 33. 76mph with labbed 26's. Cracked the blades, bought new stock props, 72 mph now.

Great looking 33! Buddy and I bought a pair of 302s from GSC back in the day. Great service from them. Always nice to get a night out in Chi-town to make the trip worth it!

What rpms were you running on the 26s at WOT? Unless your planning on labbing, the 28s will not be any faster than the 26s unless you were banging the rev limiter. But you'll have an awesome cruise speed!
Sweet boat! I was considering all black sides with graphics too! Looks awesome! |

I was turning 5100 on the port and 5000 starboard.. trimmed out to like 6..
Make sure your trimming up enough, trim just till it looses bite and touch back down, these straight bottoms like to get the nose up! |
Gorgeous boat. Love the dark sides on it. Got my 36 Outlaw from GSC and had a great experience with them as well. Im sure you will love the bigger boat over the size of the old one.
