Question has anybody ever had discoloring with their Gaffrig Monster liquid filled speedos

my Gaffrig monster gauges are only 2 years old but my liquid filled speedo is discolored, half is clean and white and the other half is foggy and dirty looking. Need help.

AO,

Great name. I wanted to buy my dads Outlaw which was red, white, and blue - that was going to be its name. I take it you have the same colors.

Sorry, can't answer your question. He did not keep it long enough, but a lot of people around here cover theirs up with towel when not running so the sun is not beating down on it. I am sure it is for that reason.

I have seen many that have a yellow tint to them.

You can change the fluid in these. There have been many discussions on this. Try a search in the tech Q/A section.

It may be that we need to change the fluid on a regular basis to prevent this.

What Dock said is true. The fluid will yellow with time and exposure to ultraviolet light on bright sunny days. The fluid drains easily and can be refilled with ordinary glycerin available at any drug store.

I have seen his speedo, it's the backround that has turned grayish. Anyone know what the warranty from Gaffrig is? A/O and I will be at the factory tomorrow, we'll post any news.
