Shift Question
 

Silly question, but is it normal to not be able to shift the boat into drive when the boat is off and trimmed all the way up? I had some work done that involved the shift cable and just noticed this while I was cleaning the boat, but never have tried it before. Neutral and reverse are fine, but no forward. Thanks!

First off - You should NEVER shift the drive without the engine running except in an emergency. You can stretch or bend things.
The shift cable may not be adjusted properly - this can cause it to go into one direction but not the other.

No force, pressure is required to shift into reverse, but that didn't really answer the question. I want to make sure it was normal before I take her out and there is something wrong while im off a trailer.
