If you have a mirage plus 23P I would assume you should see 62-63 MPH with light load

From Boattest.com engine tested 496 HO so Id say high 50's to 60

Test Result Highlights

  • Top speed for the Baja 25 Outlaw (Not in Production) is 65.6 mph (105.6 kph), burning 31.7 gallons per hour (gph) or 119.98 liters per hour (lph).
  • Best cruise for the Baja 25 Outlaw (Not in Production) is 41.1 mph (66.1 kph), and the boat gets 2.69 miles per gallon (mpg) or 1.14 kilometers per liter (kpl), giving the boat a cruising range of 230 miles (370.15 kilometers).
  • Tested power is 1 x 425-hp MerCruiser 496 MAG HO.

Thanks guys. I am about to list said boat for sale in a few days. Selling it for a buddy who isn’t really a performance boater. He bought it on a whim a year ago from the 81 year old original owner; so I just didn’t have good info.

What do you mean doesn't actually run 83mph?!?!?

Here's what I find oddly ironic.
The current owner has 4 girls ages 9-15, and they really don't want anything to do with the boat.
Another buddy of mine down the road 20 minutes has an immaculate 27' Donzi ZR with a 525EFI, and his daughters threw a fit when he told them he wanted to sell it, even though they only took it out twice last year.
Both of them have places on the same river.

Very clean boat. I still want a 25 Outlaw someday.

Same here I told my 2 daughters a week ago I was thinking about selling my 252 to help towards a newer truck and they got all mad. So Motorcycle is up for sale instead lol.
