Well damn. Wish we knew you had an Outboard and thus outboard fuel lines. Yes, this is a very common and known issue. Attwood fuel lines, around here, seem to be the biggest offenders although that is 98% of what is offered here.....part stores that carry marine stuff, Walmart, Hardware Stores, etc,,,,,
Be careful with installation, easy for that inner liner to fold over/split/etc and also do a search on the type you bought to see if there are a lot of problem with it or not, |
Um my stern drive 454 MPI collapsed the fuel lines as well. Can happen to either. I just replaced my line from tank to fuel pump with updated ethanol compatible. Original fuel line was shot. cracked , collapsed and falling apart .

I've only heard of it happening once and that was on a brand new 2000 32 Sunsation. E-10 was not involved.
