26 Outlaw battery switch panel
 

My battery switch panel has two red buttons for the engine hatch, one labeled up and one down. The don’t do anything when pressed. Are they faulty, or perhaps do they only work when you have a jumper battery attached to the terminals on the switch. Haven’t had a chance to hook up my number battery and test.

They are probably circuit breakers. The button is for resetting if they have tripped and hatch will not move either direction.

It’s not a breaker in the panel. It is labeled Hatch, and one labeled Up and the other Down. The buttons don’t latch.

If the battery is dead put jumpers to it so you can raise or lower the hatch
