Always loved the 33 outlaws. Great lines, great layout (cockpit / cabin), predictable running. Just all around great boat.

You can always go with SCX's. I know where you can get some

I’ve got a pair of NA 565’s near complete.

I’ve been in a lot of different boats in the 28 to 42 range and can’t stand the re-entry hard hitting type. 24 V is hard to beat in that length I’d think anyway.
They have a rounded keel, not really a pad, not a sharp keel, it’s 24* though

I’m definately loving this 33OL.
I would buy it in a heart beat If I could find it.
It’s the exact setup up I’m looking for.
This is what I have now.
It’s at LOTO.

I sold that 33 OL to a guy up north MI ? then it ended up at LOTO a few years back, I think it was traded to Big Thunder call Eddie Champion and see if he recalls where it is

Anybody recall at what point from the stern the keel is rounded (approx). Pretty amazing how many positive things said about the 33. Surprised me some but that’s great!!!

was hoping for high 80’s to 90 for speed but I get it. The 496/425hp run low mid 70’s???

You'd be very surprised how many people started in a Baja and have now moved up to bigger, faster more custom boats. 99% of the people I've ever talked to or read comments from that have actually owned a Baja, don't have much negative to say about them and actually enjoyed owning one. I always laugh at the hater. Most have never owned one.

I’d talk to offshorexcursion - Kevin about the 33 outlaw if you haven’t already. He had one pretty built up. Not sure what he saw for speeds or his HP but I believe procharged 502s?

I agree to others mentioning how they’re not as bad of boats as some like to joke they are. They’re the gateway powerboat, but still a very respectable boat for even experienced boaters imo.
