The search is over, #8 is home.
Well after traveling all over the Midwest in different directions we found our new boat to us. #8 has a lot to live up to.
https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...2f08e5f2a.jpeg Found this one in Buffalo on our way home after walking away from a 29 in Albany. It was sad to see how neglected and in poor condition many 29OL and 302s were in.. Thanks for all the questions answered and honest advice. I’m sure I’ll have many more. OSO has been the best Forum throughout the years and many different boats for us. Introducing “Last Dance” Wife named it, she thinks this is the last one…. Ha Ha.😉 |
Special shout out to previous owner Brandon. He took great care of it and had 7 new tires put on immediately to get us the 630 miles home safely.

CONGRATULATIONS! I'll give you 90 days before you start trying to make it faster :)

Very nice
post up pics as you mske it part of the family |
Looks very nice......but you're teasing, specs?

Nothing special…
2001 302 Boss 6.2’s and Kplane tabs with cable indicators, that’s about it. Previous owner put a Manning trailer under it, did SeaTek flooring, a Mega sound system, and kept it nice. Our turn😉 |
Nice, I have a similar one, only a couple years newer. The 6.2's are pretty easy on fuel and manage the boat well with the right props..... not winning any races but economical and dependable.
