Hey Brad,
How many RPM are you turning? I really think a 4 blade prop will be the ticket to getting more out of your Hammer and the driveability will also be improved. I think the Mirage will compare in pitch to Hydromotives Quad 4. A Bravo will need to be increased 1 or 2 pitch numbers to compare to the Mirage and Hydromotive in terms of RPM. On lower HP boats three blade props are generally faster, but in your case with I'm guessing 875 HP a 4 blade is the way to go. Talk at ya later!! Be safe!

Mirage plus 29'' RH, I'm trying to get him to try a LH 30 labbed bravo, the boat has a nose cone and could use a little more bow lift and tourques pretty hard to port at wot, Do you think a lh prop will help this??

Current temperature in Akron is 20 degrees. This would be a windchill factor of about -10.

Now that........is what is known as a brass set:D :D

Man, that is ripping, this site is dangerous, anytime I read this stuff my gears start to turn. By the way, that is a bad thing;) ;)

Be safe.....A4

By they way, very surprised you are running a 3 blade at those speeds. I know all hulls are different, but the improvement on my 24Outlaw with a rev4 is astonishing. Hopefully Brad will give a spin to a 4 blade. Later fellas

Brad Perry 12-17-2002 08:10 AM

I'm guessing that the only way that the three blade is doing as well as it is, is because of the stock x-dim. I've been told by many that much would be gained from a shorty. Problem is, I'm trying to sell the boat and get into other things for a while, so I've squeezed the money pipe off some time back. :(

$$KK*&TGVB*&!! (That's hyroglifics for the price I Shot you, JTB!) :D

Brad Perry 12-17-2002 08:22 AM

JTB,

BTW, I just ran some desktop dyno sims on the combo we talked about, and in a day we could get 625hp easy! ALL DAY LONG!
