I OWED A 265 DVX WITH A 650 HP 540 CID AND IT RAN 76 MPH. DID NOT HANDLE ROUGH WATER AS WELL AS I WOULD OF LIKED,BUT HAD PLENTY OF ROOM AND WAS HEAVY GOOD LUCK

I have a force 265 w twin 350 mags. Ive ridden in 25 outlaws and 29 outlaws and mine holds up as well as theirs on the ride. I do think it does have a 20 or 21 degree deadrise though. I have been very happy with the ride.

Mine sees mid 60's with stock 350 mags.

Also, it seems to me that a 540", 650hp motor should have gotten more than 76 mph. That would push my 24 to well over 80 mph for sure, even with my 24* bottom.

ONE THING I FAILED TO MENTION, I WAS ONLY TURNING 4800 RPMS. THAT BOAT COULD HAVE SEEN 80 AT 5500 RPMS, BUT I FELT SAFE AT THAT SPEED AND THAT SMALL OF A BOAT! TOM
