We need help defending TEAMBAJA on the General Disc board

Check for the looking for Baja decals thread

You could just buy a real boat that uses paint graphics and not cheap stickers.

KIDDING !!!

Did you contact baja?

Maybe you should do a little research on BAJA before posting something like that. If you go to a boat show, compare the detail on their paintjobs to other boats. You will be surprised!

I just want the itty bitty decal on the rear, not some big vinyl graphic down the side..........

I owned 2 baja's they were both junk, in the quality of build and craftmanship was horrible. I needed to carry a screwdriver with me at all times as it rattled apart. It's nothing but a mass produced boat and it shows after a few years of boating. There is no comparing a Formula, Donzi, Sonic, or Sunsation to a Baja. I compared the Baja's to bayliner quality.

That was a summary of whats going on

Outlawcowgirl 04-15-2003 10:08 PM

WTF????
HEY he is talking about my new baby girl!
That is just wrong. I am really upset.
This cowgirl is MAD!:hothead:

bajacraig 04-15-2003 10:26 PM

That's the problem with OSO, you can't ask about Baja's in the General Disc. The funny thing is when you look to see what a lot of people have, so many are P.O.S. Typical.

Outlawcowgirl 04-15-2003 10:38 PM

Well I think it is just sad. I mean I feel so lucky to even own a boat. I would NEVER put anyone down for the brand of boat they own.

TEAMBAJA 04-16-2003 07:12 AM

Thanks people! Its obvious that there are more BAJA fans than any other boat out there. I think they feel threatened so they have to tear our boats down. Glad someone seen that, I was just asking a simple question.

Now its time to go check out the former "boatless" Cowgirls pics!

Fukk 'em!
I've tried many times before, not worth the agrivation IMO.
Most of those cocky, arrogent POS's with all the money in the world sure know how to piss on someone's parade.
Sun? ya, okay.

Dock Holiday 04-16-2003 07:48 AM

All I got to say is I would much rather have a Baja than a Sunsation.

A guy on our lake bought the only 25 that was sold in this area, they were not received very well at all and the dealer dropped the line.

He hates it and cannot get rid of it. Been for sale for almost a year. A 25 Baja outlaw will sell in a few days.

It's a little too weird and cynical in the general board, I haven't checked it in months.

It's kinda fun to read the current events board for giggles.

For those who bash Baja there are two types:
1) one's who spent a lot more than me.
2) the ones looking at my transom.

Don't worry too much about it guys, life's too short. Most of them will be pouring big$ into rebuilding their power on a weekly basis and you'll be enjoying the summer on the lake;)

Just my 2 Cents,

I started out with a 1990 Baja 190 Sport as my first boat, nice boat for the money, too small, but never had any problems. Second boat was a 1996 22' Velocity, LOVED that boat, awesome ride for a 22' and REAL fast for stock power. 454-carbed 300 HP 73.8 GPS, still too small. Now I have a 1994 272 that I love as well. Very well constructed boat IMO, NO STRESS CRACKS, and this boat is not babied. The fit and finish is very good, and I feel is better than my "custom manufactured" Velocity I used to own. Believe me I am not knocking Velocity as I feel they build one hell of a boat, but so does BAJA! Especially for being a "Production" Boat. My best friend owns a 1996 Boss 252 that we have been in 4 poker runs with, again no stress cracks, NO PROBLEMS AT ALL! We joke that he only has 2 throttle positions, FULL THROTTLE and off. I have been around all kinds of boats my whole life, Sea Ray Pachanga's, Formulas, Checkmates, Four Winns Liberators, Velocity's, Sonic's, Profile's.....ETC. BOTTOM LINE....BAJA'S GOT A BAD RAP!!! No boat is perfect, and Baja's are inexpensive as far as Performance boats go, thats why I don't own a Velocity 280 instead of my 272, $$$$$$

:hothead: I ran my 88 240 sport in the cape race last year and after starting about a 1500 feet in stead of 300 feet rookie mistake ,I PULLED UP TO AND PASSED WILD ROSE 28 SUNSATION 500 HP WITH A BROKEN BOLSTER FOR HALF LAP, BUT MY NAVAGITOR SAID THATS IT OTHER WISE I NOW I WOULD OF BEATEN HIM. I WASNT GOING TO RACE THIS YEAR WORKING ON NEW PAINT DESIGN SHORTER DRIVE 2''. WELL IF I CAN FIND A TEAM MATE I PROMISE YOU GUYS VICTORY THIS YEAR I HAVE NEW CUSTOM BOSTERS AND WORKING ON EXTRA BULKHEADS:crazy:  ANYONE FORM MASS WANT DO A RACE :hothead: AND KICK SOME SUNSATION ASS:hothead:
