It will be strapped onto the swim platform. I have seen this done before and have talked to a couple of people here on OSO that have used one like this.

If it doesn't work, I will still have a good generator for many other uses.

I will keep everyone posted.

Wow. That's quite reasonable, both in weight and price. I never really looked into it, but I imagined them being much heavier and more expensive.

Approximately, what size is this unit? Both in footprint and height.

Are there any weather or salt spray concerns with a unit like this?

i had a portable generator mount on the fly bridge of a slow boat i owned i vibrated the hole boat

maybe you could mount it on a float that way no vibration or co poisioning

or do what we use to do hooked up with a guy with a big boat we would plug in to his pwr
