Yes, they will work, that is what I did on the 36 Outlaw. Just make sure you buy the ones with the internal flappers to keep water out of the engine.

Hey are they hard to install? I don't have a clue how to install them.

It is very straight forward, you will not have any problems. Just take you time, don't damage the gelcoat and seal them up properly.

I had the same question. Now with these internal flappers is that just the little metal piece with the rubber on the bottom that pivots about the studs in the center. My current exhaust is the stock Hammer (like shown) with the large fugly rubber flappers. Now inside the tips I have now they have an internal little piece as well. Is the outside rubber a must if doing tubing??

The internal flappers are just inside the pipe...it's a must for my boat. If I ran with out them I'd have big time problems. When you lift up the flapper on your boat...that actual metal peice is to quiet it down a little...from what i've heard it's called quick and quiet or something like that. Anyways, I was looking to make mine a bit louder and the choices are to either cut cut the metal peice out (it's welded by the way) or buy 90degree cut tips with internal flappers. It'll sound much better....and look better in my opinion.

oh, one more thing...how do you seal them?
