One was hot, and she had a car phone! First one that I saw in Bucyrus. Remember this was in like 1989. The other one was nasty.

Bring me your old photos to scan. I know these guys want to see your Trans Am and El Camino towing a Baja.

Figured I should add my last boat, a '92 236. We bought it from the original owner in south-central Michigan in '95 and boated the heck out of the Traverse City area until '11 when we sold it for a bigger boat.

Damn I miss the colors. We always got comments on it.

If anyone has any history on it I'd love to hear it.

Were those factory gel colors on that 236? Really nice, where did the boat land up?

The original wner lived near Pontiac somewhere and we bought it from him through his dealer near Fenton.

We sold it through a dealer near Charlevoix, Michigan. I think the buyer was from up there but we haven't seen the boat on the water.

As for the colors, think it must have been a secial order paint job. or after-market. The silver metallic stripe was raised a bit off the gelcoat like it had been applied after the boat had been built rather than in the gel during constructin.

As much as we love our Formula 330SS, we miss the unique colors of the Baja. We never saw another like it and I think it is one-of-a-kind.
