1998 SIDEWINDER
Here is a rare one. Not many made. (not my best photoshop work either, tried to eliminate some of the rest of the ad) |
That 240 Sport looks a LOT like my boat, minus the custom graphics I have of course..... but other than that, it could be my boat! I know mine was one of the first 2 or 3 made.

Glad you guys liked them. Im still digging for more stuff. Lots of scanning and cropping photos is involved, but I think its worth the time to get these pictures up.

TB;yup, had the 223 in non-skid.
Loved the boat, hated the ride. Liquid, I have the boat in my storage building right now, with a few pieces off here and there for fix-up. I figured that once I get it done this spring, I would take some pics and post 'em up. I didn't really take many pics of it last summer since I knew I was going to change a few things. No major changes, motor seems to run good and strong. Re-doing the swim platform and added a swim step. Some red anodized parts here and there, and replaced all the remaining cup holders with red anodized. New SST decals. new bunks, re-did the spare wheel (would you believe that all that crap on that wheel was a clear Lacquer coating?) and a few other things. I an currently trying to figure out how I can paint the inscribed "baja" over the cuddy entrance with paint just in the inscription and have it look right. any ideas? |

My adopted Russian grandson likes the cuddy!

sweet, I think as far as painting the baja , the best thing would be to find an airbrush artist , there are a few around here and have done boat names and looks awesome! the boat refreshes some memories, I do miss it and as you know am still in search of my next boat, but here is a pic or 2 from when I had it

Teambaja, do you think that you might be able to get ahold of an old 88 brochure for the 240 sport. I got most of the original papers when I bought mine off its original owner but would love to have a dealer brochure to go along with it.

I had a 300 ES with that backward windshield. Still got the windshield. Any one want it? The price is right. FREE! You pick up at LOTO. Still in great condition.

The foward windshield is angled toward the front of the boat as opposed to angling toward the rear of the boat like most windshields.. see post #4 on this thread
I think the 300es is a great looking boat.. Would like to find a white 300 |

Pwam1, I have spent alot of time with Liquid on that boat, in my opinion it was one of the coolest 25's with the triple bolsters!! Congrats on the purchase:D :D :D |
Great thread!
Back in '87 I bought a new Sport 210, traded it for a '88 Sport 220 and traded that for a new Sport 280 with twin 454's All three treated us very well. I wish I had some pics handy. Kurt |
