Sell my 96 302 which is pretty clean and has the high-perf stuff and a 99Heritage Trailer with Mag wheels.
Would I get more money for it here in Jersey or down in the Tampa Florida area? What do you think? |

Don't mean to bust in on someone eles's question but I was wondering what my 302 is worth.
Here are the specs 2001 150hrs 454 mag mpi's gaffrig gauges no trailer. immaculate condition I am having the hull blueprinted by Baja and rebalanced due to a hook in the hull but, after talking with the engineers I am going to have a much faster hull when they are done than a stock hull. I want to buy a 342 w/ 525's :) |
I've seen these boats going for 50 to 65k avg. Boats with the larger engines and perf stuff and extras seem to demand more regardless of year. Look on boattrader for reference. Mine appraised at 65k without trailer, but that is on the high end IMO. I figure 60k is about right. The 302 with the 7.4s and basic windshield are on the lower end, nice boats, but Bajas are a commodity and you have to price accordingly. That is what makes them so attractive too - you get a lot for 60k.
You should get in excess of 70k I would think. New Bajas just don't hold their values like a cig or formula. But they seem to settle into the midrange price catagory and set there for a while. |
Oh yeah, look for the crack pipe and ask for a hit so you can believe the stories they tell you about top speeds!
