Default Baja 322 questions

What speed GPS with the 454mag 385hp?
speed gps with 502 415hp?

Rough water handling in ocean?

Head? How tall and does it have a shower?

I've seen the heads on the 302 and 342 and I don't know how anyone can fit in them.

Thanks for you help!!!

I have a friend with one that runs 71-73 on speedo with 454mag. He said he used a hand held gps and that was what it was running.

No shower and it has a porta potty in what looks like a storage closet. I don't think yo can stand in it, never been in it, mainly uses it for storage. The cabin has about 5'-10" headroom.

It has a one burner stove microwave and a TV.

I've been in the bay in some rough water, it doesn't ride that bad. But I don't really have a lot to compare it too.

71-73 is what my 29 runs w/mags, a 33 OL would not be over 70. I'd say 66-68. JMO

My 2002 342 does 72 with 496HO's.
Mine is loaded which adds quite a bit of weight.

I have been looking for one with a windshield for a while. I like the boat, sorry they did away with that size.

There aren't many low 30 footers that have a decent cabin in them!!! The new 302 and 342 at the show, the heads were a joke and the donzi 33, my 5'4" girlfriend couldn't even use them....

East Coast, we had a 98 322 with 502's and a full windsheild. Would run wright around 70, but we had a lot of junk on it. As far a rough water handling goes, we ran it in the ocean all the time, Catalina. We would take it out when the small craft warning flag was flying, got a little wet, but other then that no problem. We looked at a lot of boats before we bought the 322, no other boat had more room in the cabin except for the Donzi. But for the money I don't think you can beat the Baja.

It must of been built on a Wed. It will definitely run over 70. Mabe not 73 anymore (boat is a few years older) but 70-71 for sure.
