One of the 2 times I toured the factory I had a discussion with them regarding the stringer fix. I was told it was a mid 2000 model year fix. We looked mine up on the computer and it was after the fix had been implemented so I was pretty happy about that.

Well considering the guy never answered my questions. He either sold it, or doesn't want to sell it that bad.

If you're wondering whether a boat has the fix or not, just look at that picture above. If the area looks like that, then it does not have the fix (at least the same fix that came with the 2001 I have). If that rear area where the trim pump is sitting is entirely "boxed" in, then it has the same fix I have. The trim pump will actually be sitting on top of the "boxed" in area.
