Thanks for the info. Btw, nice truck. 35's on the F250's is perfect in my opinion - not too big but bigger than most! Sounds like the gas mileage would be about the same for me but atleast I'd have more power/torque with the diesel (especially with a chip). I currently get 10mpg in the city and 12mpg on the hwy without the boat. With the boat, I get about 7-8mpg. This is with the noisy 6.0 liter and 4.10 gears. On top of that I'm running super unleaded because of my chip. I've never had a problem with the brakes but they're 4 wheel discs. Do you have a chip for your 7.3? My buddy has a box on his (selectable 60, 80, 120 hp) and that thing moves. It's fun messing with the ricers and even some vettes! I believe he's getting 16-18 mpg (city/hwy combined - no trailer). My powerstroke is a 7.3, straight exhaust,programmer, k&n and I get 17 on the hiway and 11 when i was pullig the the 29, I am a ford man now

Ford much better overall vehicle then chevy or dodge.IMO

DODGE----i've got a 2003 1 ton dually two wheel drive with the cummins ho.it has a 4;10 rear end,and pulls like crazy...i've got the edge chip,cold air box,and flow master system.get 21 on hwy and 17 in city.get between 15 and 17 pulling the boat:p :p
