Attention All Baja Owners
Well I finally got my boat back from Baja on Friday. I ran the boat all weekend and it runs great. They corrected allmost all of the problems with the boat except the steering problem.
It took them much longer than they told me it would have but at least it is done right. There were a few things that I thought they could have done better but overall I was just happy to get the boat back. Like I said before I had a terrible dealer who is no longer a baja dealer and a terrible customer service rep at first who did nothing, but he has also been terminated. Baja is improving and I think with patience and persistence they will take care of all of your problems. Oh yeah and they helped me find a set of props for the the boat. The dealer gave me the boat with 23 pitch 3 blade mirage's, the blew out all the time. They tried 25's and they blew out too. Now I have 24 pitch 4 blade mirage's and they are awsome. Runing 68.9 mph top end and I can mash the sticks from a dead stop with no blow out. But at wot they make the boat a little squirrley in the rear. Glad to hear it!

glad to see you finally got your boat back

I also want to thank all of you who helped me and supported me throughout this whole ordeal. It was very frustrating at times and just being able to vent on here and getting the responses in support of me was a huge help.
Thanks again. |
Great news. Glad to hear it. :)

See ya up at Kelly's

Bajalion,
I can't wait, I'll see you there at some point. Not this weekend I am hosting the First Annual redneck poker run. It should be a real hoot. |
Glad everything worked out! Happy boating!!!!!

Not everything is done but at least I have my boat back.

Re: Attention All Baja Owners
Baja's customer service appears to be getting better.
I called and asked for the lengths of the trim and tab cables. They gave me the lengths and part numbers. Saved me a ton of grief measuring each one. They did the same for a galley I wanted to install. They replied within a day or two. |
Re: Attention All Baja Owners
They are getting better but I think they have a long way to go. I am pretty happy with the results but there were little things that bothered me and haven't been addressed yet.

Re: Attention All Baja Owners
I would be carful jumping on the sticks. Ive watched people laugh at that advice, and are on their third set of bravos.

Re: Attention All Baja Owners
I seriously never mash them I have seen what it does to drives and I don't want to spend money fixing a boat when I could be upgrading it or getting a bigger boat. This was the first time I have ever done it. I couldn't do it before, hell I could barley push them forward with out blowing the 23's out.
