That is a nice 30'...what power is in it? I just read an article about twin 525's in a mew 30' outlaw....I think they were pushing 87mph....the article said the acceleration was just nuts.

Are they using a Bravo 1 drive with a 525?

Maybe I'm completely in the dark, but we have a 502 with a Bravo 1 drive and I thought I heard a while back that we were pushing our luck regarding hp. Someone please enlighten me.

Older Bravo 1's when the 502 was out were rated up to 500 hp I think.

Thanks....someone else told me the new generation of Bravo drives (X, etc.) handle more hp.

That boat has HOs in it. I think HOs will push it close to 80 mph.

WOW - That's going to be a tough sell considering a person could have my 29 for only 30K more and with 100 fewer hours...

...and with twin 496HO it kicks butt!!

BD - I have to give you a hard time cause your leaving the Baja family. As far as my boat is concerned, it's never for sale in the middle of the summer. It's always for sale in the winter. Price for my boat this November will be 73K.
