29 outlaw cabin drain

Does anyone know if the front cabin drain in the floor drains back into the back hull area to be pumped or drained. I was told the front does not drain back and has a second bilage pump.

I think it depends on the model of the boat. I believe that anything after '99 models have the bilge pump. I think I heard it has to do with Carbon Monoxide poison, so they do not have a hole that goes from the bilge to the cabin.

I don't think any of the 29's have a front
bilge pump ) I know my 98' doesn't.

And no, it doesn't drain to the rear.

If you get any water up there, you have to
remove the small grill/grate, by the step, and
suck out the water with a shop vac.

Pretty easy to figure out on my end. Kids walk through the boat soaking wet and drip water as they go. Do this about 15 times in a day and you can easily see where our water comes from.

..........Or you leave the drain plug out
of the cooler, it sits over night, the ice
melts, it drains on to the carpet, then
to the grate in the floor, to the bilge.

...... Then comes the drying out process

Leave the hatch open all summer!

I have no kids, no cooler, boat is kept on a lift and the drain plug is in. I've also never been wet on my boat so that's not it. If it was leaking through the hatch covers then the cabin carpet would be soaked as well as the bench seats. Does the water in the bildge area at the stern flow to the front when it is leveled out? Any help is appreciated.

Mike
