Re: What do you think?
I don't have any more pic's ( digital or scanned)
to post. ( harware trouble :D ) It does run a bit more "wet", but not that much more. You can feel the nose lift when you hit the "up" button. I've always had labbed props on the boat, I don't have a comparison ( but, labbing usually doesn't create any more lift) Bravo's are advertised to be more of a "bow lifting" four blade prop.........I would say they are......compared to a hydromotive. 3 blade round ear style props ( mirage/ laser/ turbo)usually give good bow lift. ( usually better than the 4 blades) My slip #'s are in the 14% to 15% neighborhood. I had a 24 turbo on my 223 bandit, it carried the nose well. Your in Texas right ? Give Darin @ Houston prop a call, theres quite a few satisifed customers of his on this site. He should be able to fix you up. jt |
Re: What do you think?
I will sound like a broken record here to some of you, but you might have alot of luck with a 23p Merc Revolution4. That is by far the best prop for my boat, 24 Outlaw that will run close to 80gps with the new motor.
Lifts the tail end up and helps it drive alot better. Fastest prop I tried as well. I bet I only have about 4 or 5 feet of boat in the water at wot and trimmed out. Good luck. |
Re: What do you think?
Got a pic of your boat running at WOT? Pics are worth a thousand words.
Are the bottoms of the outlaws the same as the performance series? How far is your Bravo drive mounted up from the bottom of the V? Mine is 5 1/2" Did you have your prop labbed? Or what changes where made to it? What are your slip #'s? How well does it carry the bow? Do you have hook in your Hull? How much HP do you have? Sorry with all the question. |
