Info on 252 Islander
I have a friend that is looking at a 2002 252 Islander that is for sale locally. It has a 496MAG, Bravo I, dual ram tabs w/indicators, bow filler cushions, upgrade stereo w/amp and sub, stainless rubrail, snap down covers and a mooring cover. Boat is extremely clean with 170 hours on it. It sits on a tandem axle Heritage trailer. He looked the boat up on NADA and looked out on boatrader.com trying to get an idea of a fair price for the boat. The numbers are all over the place so he is having a hard time deciding what the boat is worth. Asking price is $44,900. Your thoughts? Also, does anyone know what he can expect for performance and ride with this setup? It will mainly be run on a small local lake, the Illinois river and will spend a week or two a year at the Lake of the Ozarks. Any insight you have to offer concerning this boat will be greatly appreciated! :drink:
