what would you do?
 

I own a 38 special baja 1993. unfortunately a tropical storm filled my entire boat and now the insurance company is fixing it. The original motors are 502? mercs 1993with bravor 1 out drives. They are adving me to get the efi 502. should or what outdrive would do best with this motor. remeber it is all insurance.

I would go with the efi motors with a pair of fresh bravo 1's. The efi motor will have better fuel mileage than the older 502's. I know alot of people with the same type of boat with the newer 502's. your boat should run mid 60's with this set up. Which isn't to bad for a boat of that size and weight.

Go with the 502 efi and the Bravo 1's. My 342 has them it a nice smooth running package. Also spinning 26: Bravo 1 4 blade props.
