Baja 370 question

I was wondering if there are any Baja 370 owners here that could tell me what the distance is from the water line to the highest point of the windshield. I have searched in vain all over the net for this info....Thanks in advance

I have a '88 370. I can measure it when I get home. I'll post back around 4 PM. I'll tell you this, it's pretty high!!!

Re: Baja 370 question

Just measured it... it's about 6' 4" from the water line to the top of windshield. But the radar arch is taller. It's about 6'11"
Overall height while sitting on the trailer is 11" 3"

It's a tall one. 6' 2" cabin headroom. :evilb:

Re: Baja 370 question

Thanks for the info,

I had a Baja 280 for many years, and always liked the 370. The boat was kept in enclosed rack storage 5 minutes from my house about 15 miles south of Detroit. I used to run that boat up to Grand Bend, Canada but most often to the Lake Erie Islands and the Flats. After moving out in the sticks about an hour and a half from the boat, I sold the 280 and bought a Trojan 10 meter express to have some more room to hang out for extended weekends, but I have always missed the offshore. Still being a gearhead, the 10 meters big blocks were fitted with Merlin heads and some nice 4 bladed props. The boat cruises around 26 at 3000 rpm and will do 40+ on the gps at wot, which isn't to bad for a 13 foot beam boat.

Now, 14 years later, I have moved back again, but on a canal. There are 2 bridges that I need to get under if I choose to keep a boat at the house. I have not measured them yet, but I think there is at least 7 feet of clearance. That was the reason for my question.

Buying the 10 meter was good for another reason as well.....my wife got spoiled with the standup head and shower, plus the air and generator. She said what ever I buy, it has to have that stuff...I said ok, but that looks like a 370 or a 420.....

No Static,

Fox Chapel Marine in Port Clinton has a really nice 1996 (I think) 420 with Brand new trip 600's and new drives, I think they are asking around 140 or so the boat is pretty mint.

Nope, this is a straight hull boat. I think that baja only made 1 or 2 stepped 42's.

This boat is in great shape I would love to have it but I have no place for it, and $$$ is a little slim right now.

That's one sweet azz boat. I would love to trade up to that. The only think I don't like is the trim tabs. Junk!!! Neet to get some k-planes on there. I have seen this boat before, I think they have had this boat for quite a while. At least since last October, maybe longer.
