Greg I purchased the 35 right before the meeting. Was good to see all the Baja folks at the meeting.
I will miss those meetings. Fraction is checking on a panel. |

Technically not a repeat owner but close since I grew up riding and driving my dad's Baja's. I'm sure I had more hours behind the wheel of the 270 than he did.

:(1987 174 Sunsport - 4.3L (205 HP) 60+ mph was like 100 in a 30 footer!
1989 226 Sport - 454 Mag (350 HP) 1990 240 DVX - 454 Mag (350 HP) later this was the 260 Baja. 1992 240 Sport - 7.4L (300 HP) Year of the first Gulf War. 1992 290 ES - Twin 350 Mags. 2000 29 Outlaw - Twin 7.4 MPI's. If this boat could talk I'd tell it to shut-up! (2000-2008) All boats were purchased New from Baja except the 290 ES, a Baja Blast, and a 90' 190 Islander that I did not include. I think TEAMBAJA only rode in the 260, and 29 Outlaw from what I can remember? The brother is still pretty new to this game. 2008 - All boats are gone except the 9.9 dingy, due to the closing of Baja.:( |

I always liked the 260. The cockpit is huge!

1984 Baja Sport 160 (Built it up w/merc200 exhaust/reeds/hyd jack etc.)
Bought it around 91 or so. 1998 Condor (Taylor LP Mold) Jetboat 454/American Turbine pump Bought it new and still have it. Changed the heads, cam, intake and added lightning exhaust back in 02. 2007 Baja Outlaw 600sci/xr Not sure what the next one will be- but it's going to have to run near triple digits... maybe more. |
