Intro
 

Hi All,
My Name is Evan,
I just moved to Portland OR. from Santa Cruz, CA
I lived in North Miami Beach, FL though High school. (class of '82)
I lived on Maul Lake in Sunny Isle, and kept a boat there or at High Lift Marina on NE 188th st, Also known as ... Thunder Boat Alley.
My brother won some races in a C Class 28 Skater w Merc OBs in the Mid 90s. He was sponsored by 7 Up and the boat later became the Citri shine boat when it was sold and moved to So Cal.

I was bitten by the offshore bug early on, and being lucky enough to party on the Intra coastal as a kid w a 23 Chris Craft Scorpion, running through Haulover inlet and from Laderdale to Miami when there were few if any no wake zones.
I just woke up to boats again after years of Surfing, Windsurfing and racing Cars, lately a 1988, 600 hp SCCA Corvette, Home Track, Laguna Seca Raceway.

There is about 200 miles of navigable water on the Columbia R. from Ocean to the first dam and 20 miles on the Willamette R. from the falls to the Columbia, (and the locks on the falls are open on weekends no too.)
And moving here makes me really want to get a boat and go play
I'm looking for something small and Fast.
I've been aware of Bananas since the late 70s, and I really like the Cigarette connection.
I missed out on a Cig 20 w 454 a few months back, he wanted $9K I was stuck around $7K, I'm still kicking myself.
That was the boat every kid in NMB wet dreamed about, and no one had, (or maybe it was just me=).
Anyway, there is my intro.
