2006 Banana Thread
Banana God Sr. has informed me that I have fallen off the Banana path.
Been a tuff last few months, but things are looking up so lets get going on the new Banana line. As Banana fan #1, I would like to formally request an update on my favorite Boat from Banana Headquarters in W. Palm Beach Florida. When are the new boats expected to be popped? Is the first boat going to be my favorite paint job that was on hull number 1 "top banana"? When are we gonna race? :drink: |
Re: 2006 Banana Thread
Well we are running a little behind schedule still but it will be worth the wait.
The new boats should be coming off the line within 60 days. I'll be posting more pics as we get a little further into it. |
Re: 2006 Banana Thread
no Miami boat show  i'm sure in the long run it will be worth it

The Miami show was very interesting as far as some power people were concerned. We were approached by some outboard manufacturing people who are looking to hookup with a high performance boat company......not the fishing center console kind. At this point, the only boat we would consider putting outboard power on would be the 24 foot. But, never say never. It looks as if the 24 tooling is going to be done about the same time as the 35 tooling, so it will be a toss up to see which boat will be the intro model. |

Too bad about the unrigged hulls. Thanks for the info!!

I was thinking of doing the 24 first and getting you to race me in the ocean with that little 18 footer of yours....maybe about 5 miles out to start. Phil, when the 35 is close, I'll let you know for sure. |
