I know where you can get one with new paint that is running with 454 and TRS on a trailer for around $9000.

I have no idea which boat it is and I haven't seen pics but the guy who bought my last Sutphen has the boat up in Mass. and is about to paint it. He called me and asked if I had anyone interested so I told him I would spread the word.

NEWS FLASH......my son found and just purchased for a restoration project......banana boat co, hull # 1.

Only difference is..... it now has a big block vs the small block we originally built it with.

I told my good friend Bobby Saccenti about it, and he ground his teeth....he knows where his Apache hull # 1 is and he wants it back.....but the original owner still has it, loves it and keeps it in great shape.

INXS2 06-05-2009 12:14 PM

I've got the 24'er that Airdog listed here last fall, lot's of boats out there at great prices so I may pass it on for what it cost me as I may up grad to something else. If got my fiberglass guy comimg by within a week or so to see about doing some minor touch-ups before I paint it. I've also got two 200GT Loopers with minor mods also. I'm not 100% certan I selling but you never know? The hull is in great shape, just needs seats and paint.

Think I have a nice shot of Inferno up to the rub rail around here somewhere.

They are great boats, but we used to get on Richie all the time about the Stuff-Inn name.

You need to ship that thing back to the Northeast where they know how good those boats are.

Clean your decks and we can sit down and talk about building you new toy that will impress your neighbors. Remember Merc Racing has rolled back prices to the low levels of 2007 for 525's and up.

Thank you....we still have some tweaking to do, but it really turned out great.

Sorry guys.....but hull # 7 has just been found and purchased up here in New England.

Boat was originally built for a very close friend of mine, so it got the very best of the best. It is still pretty original, except color and new big block vs original 280 small block.

It is due for a resto, so we should have some photos soon.

Hey Kris,

Welcome to OSO!

Glad you finally signed up.

You want an I/O boat right?

They are harder to come by, but keep in mind you can always convert an outboard boat over, but you will need to fill in the motor well and either move the stringers closer together or add another set inbetween the two outboard ones.

krisx125 06-10-2009 11:29 PM

scottmori 06-15-2009 11:08 AM

Thanks for the invite I will keep in touch. I am looking for a 22-24 ft outboard now. I looked at the red twin outboard at portedgwood but it is pretty rough and priced way high for condition?
Thanks scott

Hey Kris,

j31drvr is the owner of Charlie Jr's former banana and is looking to sell.

It's a great looking rig with a closed in transom and an armstrong bracket.

Comes with a year old Aluminum Trailer and a Yamaha single outboard.

Somebody better jump on it quick.

Not many with motor well filled in like this set up.
