Bought another banana boat
 

I just bought my 4th banana boat.

Do I get a plaque for owning the most banana's?

It is the old "blue max" race boat with twin outboards.

Yep, that's it.

Looks exactly the same.

The interesting thing is it had triple stringers and transom knees, which I had never seen on another banana before.

My second banana "spoiled banana" had transom knee's but not the third stringer running up the middle.

My Pantera has the third stringer also, but originally had no knees, I added the knees when I replaced the transom:drink:

That was the plan when I bought it.

My other Banana is Mike Spirito's original race boat and I am restoring it.

I picked this one up to play with in the meantime.

Have some personal memories of that boat....lol Was out with my friend Paul and his older brother Jeff on Narragansett bay years ago....I must have been 15. long story short we were jumping tug boat wakes and almost stood the thing straight up - huge air! nearly blew over from my recollection...
