Livorsi makes nice gauges,I am probaly going to make a dash from scratch to locate everything in a more comfortable spot.

Does anyone make the hatch doors you have mine are still old school teak.

thatguyjohn: the console on the new ones - like Steve's is a little larger than the old style - more surface area. Take a look at it on his boat pics and pm me if you have any intertest and we can make you one.....

Best Dash I ever saw was on my second banana boat. Green Race Boat called "Spoiled Banana".

Custom made by the original owner (MrV8outboard), who had the boat built new. He welded up the dash himself out of aluminum. It had an angled pad for the steering wheel and it wrapped around the starboard side for the throttle quadrant to be further back. It went all the way across the boat and had a throttle for the co-pilot.

I always kicked myself for not keeping the dash on that boat.

The older stock dashboard cause the throttles to be too far forward and your choice in steering wheel position is to either mount it vertical or flat on top like a tractor trailer truck.

Funny story, my first banana boat had the Semi Truck mounting position on top of the dash.

One day I jumped the boat so high that when I landed, I broke the original steering wheel in half.

In the later pictures of my boat you can see I put an blue aluminum steering wheel after that so it wouldn't happen again.

I moved the throttle over to the side into the bolster and it was perfect. The steering wheel is almost vertical on mine, something alittle higher on the dash at a 45 degree angle would be nice. Just my $.02, it is still pretty comfortable though

That's what I did I made a pod that mounted on the side and raised the dash up now it's perfect
