It is nice to see Banana Boat fans still around.... went to Billy Frenz's christmas party last night in Bridgport, CT... wore my Banana Racing Team jacket and spent about two hours talking ot banana boat fans, and a current owner... may even have a sale on a new 24... but we will see.... Charlie am I still a Banana Racing Team member???? I know my membership is now due....

Do I have to buy a new banana to get a banana racing team jacket ???? My banana will do 72mph at 4600rpms, does that qualify me? :boat:

thats MIKE SNOWS old boat built in RI, it was one of 2 he had built. looks like the second one. I see Mike once in a while, he had a stroke this winter or last fall. but looked good last time we met. Art

I now own "Team Banana" I bought it from the owner of Banana Boat Co, he's a good friend. It was Mike Snow's 2nd race boat, like mentioned above.
Its for sale if anyone is interested.

Amusing, since I never owned Mike Snow's boat and I never sold it to whoever this is, that claims to be a good friend?

My mistake, Dirk got the name "Banana Boat" but had to change it to LTD.

Well that explains it. To own something, would indicate something was paid for....in the case of your friend, it was not.

I am sure this boat is fine and you were unaware when you posted this. Good luck with your sale.

I'm not an English major, however it's clear to me that G9901920 was refering to owning the boat called "Team Banana", and purchased it from the owner of Banana Boat LTD.
So much drama (on this thread and others) when taken out of context....
