Re: Stolen Spectre 30

I was just reading a book that lists referral resources for criminal investigations and it listed this:

International Association of Marine Investigators

Here is a link to their website. It seems they are a partnership organization between law enforcement and insurance.

http://www.iamimarine.org/iami/

Maybe you should give this info to your investigating detectives and see what they think. Perhaps they've already looked at these resources.

The website lists this contact for the northeast.

Northeast U.S.
Jeffery Torchio, Trooper
New Jersey State Police
Marine Services Bureau
Atlantic City Staion, NJ

Re: Stolen Spectre 30

I guess that's good news. Is the boat in good shape otherwise? Let us know when you have more information.

Re: Stolen Spectre 30

Hey Mike,
So far what I know is the boat was stripped. Gauges Steering and Motors. Left behind were trim pumps, engine brackets and center tab. The boat was left in good shape except for where they took out the helm. Otherwise, from what I was told, the gauges were removed piece by piece and no other damage was done.
So with some minor glass work in the helm area and re-rig of new engines, he should be back out on the water soon...
