Does anyone know anything about a 17' single Step Cat that was built about 9-10 years ago called an SL CATS.

I spoke to Jason at Fastcat Marine (Miami) the other day. He told me that he only remembers that the guy who built them built them one at a time and they were custom ordered. He was only in business maybe 1-3 years. This boat was never mass produced.

This 17' Cat has got a lot of thought put in to it. I've taken her to many other builders who agree; this boat appears fast and is well thought out.

Can anyone give me any more info??? Max HP, Weight limitations, Hydrodynamic lift, Point of center of gravity, props to try, etc.

I simply know it needs to be level and balanced forward and aft, so it won't lift off. I know boats, but I don't want to get killed on the first sea trial. For my intial test I will mount a 05- 125HP, 2 cycle Merc. Any information would be helpful. Andy K.
