A superficial gesture. Part of the testifying deal, Chubby (anyone remember when back 3 years ago when he claimed he would never rat on anyone? LOL! OK!) testifies against his accomplices and the insurance co will put in a request for probation. Whoopie! They already knew the Judge was going to give him time. Also let's not forget Chubby could have gone to trial and let his fate be determined by a jury of his peers in Texas. Wow! Would that have been a mistake!
