It's funny what a convenient memory you have. You told me you sent the crank to a shop in Tennessee while you had the boat. Now it went to Bobby Warren's in Clinton, NC.
If it was never magnafluxed then it wasn't discovered. You generally do that when you straighten and turn a crank,(as you said was done) or at least they did in my day. It saves a lot of time, work and money to check it for cracks before turning and straightening and balancing (another thing you got wrong) Since Bobby Warren is 73 years old and has been building motors since I was born it makes me wonder if you sent him the crank, or if he's another scapegoat. I'll check with him tomorrow to see if he has any record or recollection of turning and straightening a crank for you without checking to see if it was cracked, anytime between September 2007 and March of 2008, as I have always had the greatest respect for both Bobby and his family and the quality of their work as well as their racing accomplishments.

Tennesse?? That would have been a little far to drive to with a crank from Wilmington. Check it out, You do that Danny. You know I did'nt have a crank grinder, and obliously it WAS ground. But you probably don't believe that either. I does'nt really matter if you believe me or not. And no, Bobby doesn't grind cranks anymore, as he is'nt even there during the week. Joey Warren runs the shop, and when I was last up there, some other guy was running the grinder. But good luck with your new cranks and builds. Hope it all works out for you.

Speaking of convienent memories though... Do you remember when I suggested replacing the crank??? You did'nt want to here anything about that! Or I'am I the only one with amnesia?

You know Danny, why are you even posting here?? Bleachers sports bar canceled his builds cause we were taking too long. Demands $4500 back. Which I said I would do. In the mean time, He and others slam me and my services so bad that the 7 engines that were in house get canceled. Basicly all the bad press was the final nail in the coffin from by times that were going sort of a rye. I'm not looking for any scapegoat. I made my bed, and I'm prepared to lie in it. I'm not looking for sypathy or understanding from anyone. I understand that the buck stops with me, and that some things did not go well. Unfortunetly, your engines went sour after the overheating. Everything else you claim I have yet to see, but thats another story. Point is I will do whatever is possible to rectify all situations and requests that are at all resonable. Hell, I played the 200mil powerball last week, if I won, I'd a called Reggie and sent ya a damn new Fountain! I always though you were good and fair guy Danny, I hate this turned into a cancer. On the other hand I can only do what I can, on whats possible. For me to supply someone with money make, at this instant is impossible, whether they feel owed or not. I promised to take care of Bleachers, but the constant bashing, along with other people, who have no right speaking, has crippled me at this time. YES, some engines went bad. I'm human man. Its no excuse though. I'm pretty much still young, 36 yrs. to be exact. I feel I'm pretty decent skillwise. I will bounce back. It may take a long time, people may think I'm a scumbag now, or maybe they will always think that, I don't know. But i will do my best to do the right thing. And eventually I feel I will fair better than today.

The way my engines turned out, I probably came out ahead with a cracked BRC crank, because I'm sure you would have sold me new billet Callies cranks when you were getting the money, and then you would put stock cast Chevy's in, probably out of the junk yard, thinking I would never know the difference, just like you did on the JE pistons I paid for but got KB cast, or the high dollar roller lifters but got Federal Mogul, or the Feria valves but got a no name brand, or the Eagle rods with no Eagle insignia, or the balance job on the rotating assemblies that is not in balance, or the valve guides with .004 clearance. No my memory is real good, kind of like an elephant's.

The reason I come on here and post is to expose a fraud. When you take money under false pretense, it is a fraud. If you had acted with good intention and pure motive and my engines blew up, then I could raise hell, but I couldn't say you had committed a fraud. You did that, when you promised by brand name, specific parts, and then delivered and concealed inferior, cheaper, parts in their place without telling me beforehand, or getting my approval to do so. That's fraud and it's criminal. You think you can come on and explain your actions away and no one will think any different, or feel sorry for you, and everything will be all right. I did feel sorry for you initially, but then I see you are a career fraud, and I'm glad someone is trying to make your life miserable.

Back when I was dealing with him and his brother when he firsted moved to NC it was the same BS. I was supposedly buying 2 small blocks built by Blue Lightning Marine in NY that he was selling. The stories started getting more and more fishy every time I talked to him so I called Blue Lightning directly and they laughed and said we havent built small blocks in about 10yrs. After speaking to the Prince brothers again I got some BS about, well maybe we just thought they were built by Blue Lightning, it might have been the place next door that doesnt have a sign, or the guy used to work for Blue Lightning, or we got the parts from Blue Lightning, on and on. That was enough with the BS, send me my deposit back and then the chase was on. The stories he tells are sometimes downright ridiculous, other times, you almost want to believe him. My feelings are that he is the type of person, that given the opportunity, will phuck you.

I hope it works out for the rest of you.

Mark, having those wonderful engines rebuilt after only 50 hours, good work. Here is a surprise the parts you used were crap. What a shock. Just trying to keep your memory alive on OSO.
