Just to be clear, Mr. Prinz out of NC should go to prison. Only 2 unhappy customers? How about the customer in Germany that wired you the money? Why don't you do everyone a big favor, and go away.

I don't know why this is back again, but you can once again add my name to the list of people who knows first hand about the way Mark Prinz operated his Wilmington, NC shop. I spent a lot of money with him, was promised top shelf parts and competent labor and machine work. I did get some of the parts I paid for, but ended up with a package that was totally worthless and could not be used nor enjoyed.
To make a long story short, Prinz thought he had done the job good enough to get my money (which he had) and get rid of me and everything would be ok, but on the first outing when he had plumbed the water pumps backwards and both engines overheated in the first 5 minutes, and then one engine had a dead miss because of the inferior valve job with stuck valve (that he claimed was an electrical misfire), and after I had lost total confidence in him and went for a second opinion, I found out how bad I had been screwed and the rest was down hill from there. Engines were so far out of balance that they shook the dyno loose from the floor. On tear down we found cheaper cast pistons instead of JE that were promised, different cheaper rods than promised, different cheaper rollers than promised, older roller cams that would suffice but not proper for this application, cheaper valves than promised and so on. I think you get the picture. To Prinz's credit, I did get 2 new sets of Dart head castings, 2 intake maniforlds and 2 850 Holley carburetors for any of you that want to praise him for his honest and fair dealings.
My hat's off to you Magic Cat. You can change your screen name to The Lone Ranger if you got good work from Prinz. Many of us did not.
By the way, after I spent seventeen thousand with Prinz, I spent more than that to straighteen up his mess, but I'm proud to say I overcame it and moved on. Glad that was during a good economy.
Not to be confused with Mark Prinz, I want to thank once again Mark Rinda of M.E.R. Performance Marine for being a straightforward, honest, business person and for making my engines work as designed and as you promised you would.
I would encourage anyone involved in performance boating that wants reliable horsepower along with honest intentions and pure motivation to contact M.E.R. for their high performace needs. I wish I had know M.E.R. Performance before all this started.

What A Friendly Little Comunity You Guys Have Here. No. A New Member Decides To Just Share His Experience, ( A Good One ) And Here We Go With The Hate. And To Go As Far As Saying I Am Him ?????? Half Of You Proubly Have Never Met Him Or Have Never Had Him Do Anything For You.but Its Sooo Much Fun To Jump On A Guy When He Is Down. Look I Am Not On Here To Stir Up Any Crap Or Make Enemies. But Enough Is Enough. Cut Your Looses If You Did Loose Anything, And Move On. And Yes I Do Have Another Boat I Would Like To Have Him Build Me A Motor For. But He Can Help Me Right Now, Due To Economic Reasons.just Remember Thier Is Two Sides To Every Story.....
