MISSING VESSEL - 1975 35' Viking "Gray Light"

VESSEL RECOVERED - San Diego, CA - Feb 23 2009 - Owner fell overboard on 2/17/09 9AM PST, owner rescued. Incident occurred near Gina Oil Platform, off Ventura County California. Vessel on auto pilot headed toward San Nicholas Island.

1975 35' Viking - white hull with black enclosure, 9' dinghy on vessel bow with black cover.

Edit of first post says it was recovered San Diego Feb 23rd

Recovered Viking

To all interested...The Viking was recovered apx 100miles SW of San Diego by an oil supply boat passing by, after it ran out of fuel. Owner fell overboard while attending to business on the aft deck...boat on auto pilot, doing 18 knts. He watched it run over the horizon...He was in the cold Pacific for 4 hrs, until picked up by a passing boat, hypothermic, but OK. Boat has now been returned to a very lucky guy.
