I have had 3 Performance trailers over the years, the last one that Bill built for us was about a year and a half ago. I Have been speaking with him over last two months about premature paint perforation and rust. The good news is he assured me he will fix it. At this point I'm waiting for him to pick up the Trailer on a return trip back to Lake George after dropping two trailers in Virginia. I'm optimistic that I will be able to follow up with a Bill is a man of his word post

So what started as a very negative "heads-up" warning from an un-happy customer, (and in my opinion-rightfully so) has turned into a positive thread for a new owner of a trailer company.
Isn't that how OSO is supposed to work?
Kudos to the site monitors for not pulling the thread.
And Best of Luck to the new owners. They got to see how word-of-mouth travels in the boating family,
both good and bad.

I've known Brock and his wife Kim for a number of years now and I can honestly say they are two of the nicest people I have ever met. They've owned a number of vehicles and boats through the years which were kept and maintained second to none. With their attention to detail I could only imagine how nice their trailers will be. Congratulations guys
Justin.

Way to go Brock and Kim. I don't need a trailer right now, but I will surely look you up when I do. Taking care of your customers sincerely will always net a positive experience for all!

That is exactly what I had hoped for and was very happy to reopen the thread for Brock to post. He PM'd me and I gave him a couple options.
I think this thread shows that the initial incident 14 years ago was an isolated one.
All the positives posted about the company demonstrate that they are committed to building a high quality product

GETTING THE POSITIVE WORD OUT!!!
PERFORMANCE CUSTOM TRAILERS - UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT

Performance Custom Trailers has been in business for 27 years!

Originally in Lake George, Bill & Dianne Bunting expanded and moved the company to Warrensburg, NY.
NOW, NEW OWNER, BROCK PETROSSO will continue to expand and enhance the business throughout the Lakes region.

Brock grew up in Lake George with his family as a child, and moved to the RI area while keeping close ties to the lake, and now Brock and his wife Kim have made a permanent residence here. An avid boater and outdoorsman, Brock worked his entire life in the family painting business where he prides himself on quality and excellent customer service. He has owned many performance style boats, and you might see him on the lake with his newest 24' Superboat or cruising around town at sundown with his custom 1969 Dodge Dart Pro Street Convertible.

Robert “Boober” Thompson will continue to provide his expertise as our head welder /fabricator, as a 27 year employee, we are proud to have him on board.

Give us a call or stop by to talk about some of our newest ideas such as exterior cosmetic changes and modern lighting on our trailers.

Congrats on new ownership
I inherited one of these trailers with a purchase of a OL-53

Between the lack of attention to detail on the bunks and electrical ,,,,,,,,,,,,it is a poorly assembled trailer. To survive the QA, has a long way to go
