Doesnt mean anything.

Turns out the reset password issue has nothing to do with who the account is registered to or who has access... All it means is that email address exists within their system.

Looks like you all may have made a mistake in judgement on ding ding.

It doesn't change the issues at hand though! ;)

I have run message board software myself, so it was not a great post, just obvious.

One thing people have to learn about threads like this. If the information is already factual and bad, you don't have to enhance it. I think the past threads speak for themselves anyway.

No need to add new drama IMO.

People know what side of the issue I'm on so I'm not sticking up for CS but that's way over the top.:bong:

The vile act of bilking that sick childrens charity offended someone.

"sow the wind; reap the whirlwind." "Every decision has consequences; a person's actions will come back to him."

In my opinion this is more than a charity bilking. What if someone took setup advice for their apache or motor advice or anything else from CS based on his vast knowledge of the subjects and it ended up hurting them or their pocketbook.

Not that I want to admit it but I listened when he talked about business because he seemed to do so well, was here long before me, and was respected not to mention the fact that he seemed succesful.

I mean back to the thread topic if he told someone he had been ejected 3 times maybe someone drives a little closer to the edge because they feel he survived three times they probably could also.

I don't think anything that could be done to this person would be enough to call it over the top

Found an interesting post by Ned who two posts earlier had caught chit for coming to conclusions from hearsay re P1 incident. Mobilemercman and CS cautioned him.

His retort;

So let me get this right Chris, we are not allowed to discuss something that did actually happen at a race meeting, instead we must all act lovey dovey and say only nice things about powerboat racing. Gimme a break.

As much as we promote the awesome side of powerboat racing, there is also a need to highlight the less than desirable aspects of it as well. We probably do more than many others in promoting the sport of powerboat racing but I will be dammed if I am going to sit back and watch the negative side being swept under the carpet. Like Julie said in her own post there is always two sides to anything - powerboat racing included.

Chris - since the forum is yours I will respectfully not post here anymore and stick to our own forum since you only want Serious Offshore to be a place where nice things are said about powerboating. All the best and good luck with it. Ciao.

Ned

Odd turn of events.
