Because we don't believe CS is gone, plain and simple. And frankly as tainted as the site is, is there really anything to "save"? This is the internet and even if Chris did slink off to a hole somewhere (more likely an airplane forum where he will say he has owned 4 G5's and has a 727 in his warehouse getting bigger engines). A week, month, year from now guys will be talking about the site and one will say, "yeah that's the place that's owned by some con artist guy, don't remember his name, but it was a big deal a while ago." You may have missed it but there was just a thread on here about ordering from Monster Marine and someone was talking about it being the old "Trick". Even though Fred Cecil is long gone.

Then the only way to find out for sure is to get involved in the site again, right?

Countless hours were spent by many people creating Serious. Why throw all that away.....Chris is the enemy, not the site.

Exactly what 4 of us said on April 9 2010.

Plus we offered 60k to boot.

In the very end which will be soon, I want you all to realize that the people that put the most effort and risk money up to save SOS was Alec Ted Craig and Nick.

Straight up, it was done on behalf of the volunteers.

No bullshhit.
The people that we tried to save it out of respect for, chit all over us. One in particular who doesnt even offer up his wondrous posts anymore.
