Using 'Logic" as illogical as many of you think my thinking is:

1. Most conmen, burglars, thieves etc are lazy. Its much EASIER for them to take what they want as opposed to earning it.

2. Most people like to be 'cool' or at least liked by the masses

With very few left on SOS and even fewer willing to buy anything he could attempt to sell, wether its influence, advertising etc., he would have to work extremely hard for any reward of his efforts while at the same time under the microscope of many that make James Bond look like Nancy Drew. It has to be painfully obvious to him that he can't change brands of toilet paper without you guys finding out about it.

Given such adversity to sheering sheep, it would be MUCH easier and MUCH more profitable for him to find a new flock to fleece.

He phucked himself on that one. You really think that right now he isn't wishing he had taken the money and ran?? Now his stock is worthless, he has no more investors to bilk. Once a ponzi collapses its done, your not going to make money off of it, you have to go start a new one. At the time the money was offered, he more than likely thought it as a speed bump and didn't slow down, he soon found that speed bump was a brick wall smashing head on.
