I live in South Florida as well and have never heard of A&L Engines.
I also concur with REDS32, there are alot of cr@#py shops down here. I have been burned in the past and am very leary of anything up for sale as a result.

Got nothing but a POS .060 SBC with no help or offer from the owner at all. He didn't even get 50 hours out of it. The heads didn't even match...had different casting numbers and combustion chamber sizes!! Stay away from the guy...nothing but trouble.

On web site....never a core charge.
Where do they get this junk that they sell?
When I opened up my 330HP bbc, that they sold the previous owner of my 242SS, the parts were all cast with a 10/20 crank and .040 pistons.
Seems the PO bought it because it was such a great price.....get what you pay for.
I ripped that junk out and threw it away. I would not run that kind of stuff in my boat.
