I hate that I have to post a neg about OSO. I understand political correctness....but why in the world would they delete a thread as serious as this instead of editing out the racial slurs?

He also stated on the deleted thread that he wanted to buy a $3800 pontoon boat after he sold the cat.
He did that in defense of a couple of members challenging his reasons for selling after backing off the medical bill reason.
Who on here has a boat sitting in their driveway unprotected and doesnt have insurance ???

Yea I didn't have insurance. And I don't know why they didnt edit the racial stuff, I deleted my comments but oh well. Keep your eyes open tomorrow out on the lake. Hopefully this guy will get caught soon.

One more question that I don't think I can figure out the answer to:
Who would just hand over $6k in cash on a deal they KNOW is going to turn around on them, in days if not hours, and still be local and in plain view?
Not bashing the seller, just not sure how that would be a good idea for the buyer.

I had a boat stolen from me in that exact same area and I DID have insurance and DID NOT get paid. It's always a bad story, just a different narrator.
