Curtis can say anything he wants as can his cheer-leading squad, but this is what I was told...and all I did here is copy and paste...

He pled guilty to felony insurance fraud and filing a false instrument he's looking at 2 1/2 to 7

BTW...this is not my opinion, but straight from the law side and as of now...no deals have been made or accepted. I guess we will just wait and see what happens.

What I meant was how many do they think went through the whole operation with these clowns? Not just 5 that they have evidence of. I know it's a tough question but I was just curious.

Ohhh...my bad. Being that this little enterprise has been going on for a number of years, there is no telling with us guessing...so I wont. The exact number will forever be silent with Angelo not here. If I was betting tho...I would bet that Lawrence, Winters Curtis and even JC has a better idea of how many boats went thru the system, but one will probably have a better chance of getting laid in a convent than getting any of them to say anything. Besides...it could possibly open the door for new charges.

Just for grins...I will ask if the investigators have an idea.

This is a CardShark thread right? I meant it was a charge still tied to the boat theft vs. all boat related charges cleared up with the pleas.

You already knew the answer so why ask the question? You remind me of Steve Wilson...ask a question so you can answer it yourself. Only YOU use the same username.:lolhit:

Ask the question to see if he will be truthful or lie. I guess we all know the answer now.

so then help us out with the other 1/2 of this if you think everybody here is clueless...

the MCSO arrests you in KW (1300 miles from home) during the 2007 SBI Worlds event race week for Criminal Mischief and Criminal Tresspassing? 2 distinct and separate charges,,,, a $25,000 bond requirement down there wasn't for a flat tire on a stolen Huffy bicycle or peeing on a fire hydrant...

you were caught in the *act* doing *something*

what EXACTLY were you arrested for in KW? where? and why?

or was this another *misunderstanding*?

That's interesting.
Would that be your attitude if your personal life was effected by the thefts involved ?

We'll see how Chubby is received on here if he wants to get into the boat hauling business again.

Hopefully your attitude is in the minority around here.

It continues and will never stop with that attitude.

I respect the fact that you are entitled to your opinion though.

Pleading guilty to a felony means that the ball-game is over for him. As for JC...no idea what he is doing and he probably is building motors. On a side note, I dont recall ever hearing anyone bad-mouth one of his motors, so I give him credit there, but he is still charged with conspiracy and that charge is with the CardShark saga. In speaking with my contacts...and I did say contacts with an S...I have not got an answer to some of the questions I have asked, so IN MY OPINION...there must be something else on the sidelines that hasnt come out yet.

As for moving on...sounds like a plan but I would bet everything that I have that you would care and give a mighty s hit if anything these guys took/stole was yours. Some people seem to think that it isnt a big deal when their stuff is not involved, but then turn around and scream RAPE if anything of theirs turns up AWOL..

Time to call in some favors...I will see what I can find out on the "misunderstanding" with Curtis down in KW...sorta help him re-remember if you will. Lots of boats down there during that time...speculation here...was Curtis shopping??That pic of Curtis on the arrest report...does he have that deer in the headlights look or what?
