I have never understood the cat and mouse game with info about this topic. WTF?? I understand that if you are connected to the investigation you cant talk and IMHO your first mistake was telling folks you were connected and then saying you cant talk about it. The second was if you were connected and did tell folks you were, is to post on a message board to "stay tuned" because you cant talk about it.

Enough and I'm not buying the magazine.
I guess I'll visit this again when they make it a TV movie that goes straight to youtube.

The guy is not connected. He has absolutely nothing to do with the case other than being a guy that has made friends with a couple of people that know a few things.

Mr Slonaker, the dog you are referring to died of cancer. The dog you saw on your visit is a pet. He stays at the shop on Sundays and Mondays when his owner is running errands. Not Leons dog. If you need pictures, I have plenty. The ones that the investigators have of Cardshark sitting on the fence.

Here you go people. Rush right out and get your copy of Performance Boat magazine. It has an article in it concerning the CardShark. I have known about it for quite some time, but was asked to not say anything, but now is the time. I havent read it yet, but I have talked to Brett, the publisher about it as well as numerous emails back and forth. I did make a run up to Dereberry's place for some picture taking. This is where the pic in the article came from. And Leons dogs...lmao here...NOT ONLY did they not even bark at me at any time, but they do like the side of their heads scratched. Guard dogs...righttttttttttttttttttttttttt. Which makes me wonder...where were the big bad guard dogs that night the boat went POOF? Whatever!

Drive safely and enjoy your reading.

Oh christ almighty, now your entire phucking conspiracy rest on a guard dog......or possible lack therof.....which is dead. OMG, maybe he knew something he shouldn't of and somebody gave him cancer so he wouldn't tell the cops. Get a life.

on what his fav flavor of KY? you guys dont get it a career criminal got caught stealing something. the fact that other people asked him to do something illegal isn't the point, he could have said no instead of bragging from coast to coast about how he "makes things vanish".. if there is evidence against people, believe me they would have prosecuted. Murray is scum, always has been always will be. for all those that he hauled boats for that say he did a "good job" just thank god he didn't get in an accident as you boat would have been history.

It is far too much to give Cliff Notes. Very detailed, clearly shows the who, what , where and why up to now. All the NY players are named and tells their level of innocence, indictment and or conviction and it says the Texas people are being rounded up.

Let me say that I have no dog in the fight either way and have met and know some people (to some extent) and hold nothing against anyone as we never had any business dealings good or bad.
I am just posting what has already been published. (That should cover it.)
Quick Synopsis from article and please don't hold me to this, I read it over the weekend.

They used a repo angle to get the boat picked up by someone else, swapped it to Jeff's truck at a truck shop and shipped it to the Activator plant in Long Island. There it was stripped for parts, shredded and disposed of. That was only one of many.

Thanks. These bastards kill insurance for all of us, so we all have a dog in this fight I think.

I just read the article, good read. Our industry has some colorful history and that doesn't seem to be changing much. Some well known players goin down on this one it appears. I have some mags btw
